Diana introduced the song on my blog :) My my, she sure knows damn well what kinda tunes i like. It's so calm and yes, when it gets down to it, i love Mya's "Life is Too Short"!
HT period was spent listening to ex-students of pre-university instituitions, telling us how they managed to make it big. There was this malay guy, Fariz Rashid- and i swear he is amazing. Successful, witty and believes in God. He must be every muslim girl's dream guy (well, he's definitely Farah's and mine... even Eunice's, maybe? HAHAHA). I was totally hanging onto his every word. He held every ounce of attention in my being for that 15 mins.
You see, this guy, is only 23 and already a top Financial Analysts in his company, and his 3rd paycheck was for almost $20k. He flunked his A's, which set him back a bit but went ahead to study at Monash, Malaysia's campus instead. He did fantastically well there and got offered a place with this Australian company (i forgot the name). And the thing is, he was from one of the lowly institutes. Haha, very much like where i am now.
One thing he said stood out: EMOTIONS - LOGIC = FAITH.
There's no such thing as being "all out of faith", because i do believe that faith it is the one thing that can keep you moving even through the darkest hour.
I'm gonna try spend 8 hours per day studying. 12 hours is just too crazy. I know i have people reading this entry- thus, with you guys as my witness, this is my new resolve. Starting from... er, i think i'm gonna plan my study schedule tonight. So maybe starting from, tomorrow? Procrastinating already, Nas?
P/S: To the boy with that concerned smile & sweet eyes, you made today slightly brighter for me (:
