I haven't slept since Monday night and I have come to a conclusion that babies are about the BEST thing that can happen to hospitals.
I watched babies being pushed out of the operation theater and they are beautiful. They're like tiny miracles in an ocean of heart diseases and intestine disorders. Even with those wires and stuff attached to big bulky incubators simply because they were just too eager to come join our disgraceful planet (you silly creatures, stay in there!!!)... those slimy babies still look incredible to me.
I'm all mushy. I hate the effect hospitals have on me.
Thank god for the racist chinese guy i met the other night who totally entertained me with his racism. You suck, btw, but i didn't dare tell you because I didn't want to end up getting my fingers sewed back on at 4 am in the morning. He said, "I didn't know that malay girls can be anything else besides minah-ish and stupid." Okay it pissed me off and i was taken aback by disgust so my comeback was really minah-ish and stupid. I just said, "You're the most ignorant racist i've ever met!" and continued our conversation.
Still, different viewpoints always intrigue me.
